Board of Directors Meeting

Attending:
Rebecca Powell (President), Diane Speer (Vice-President), Tamara Putnam (Treasurer). Marilyn and Bob McKoy, and Madeline (HOA Management Co.)
Called meeting to order at 5:39 pm. Tammy read the minutes from last meeting. A few minor corrections were made and the minutes were then approved.
Financial Report:
Marilyn reported our current balance on hand as $6116.09 and $10,008.85 in our reserve account. The board looked over the financials with Marilyn noting fines and outstanding dues by some residents. A possible lien was discussed concerning a resident, a certified letter will be sent warning this owner of pending action if an effort is not made to pay dues.
Old Business:
Board voted to have Jeremy Pealer clean up vines on property looking very unkempt. A letter will be sent to owner of record charging them for the service.
The second sidewalk edging to be done throughout the neighborhood is to take place in November, by our landscaper, Jeremy.
New Business:
Rebecca made a proposal to sod on east and south sides between the sidewalk and street in common areas. Estimated cost of $250 be be done by Jeremy.
A proposal was made by Diane to add some mums at both main entrances to look more festive for the autumn. Bob suggested pansies might last longer. With limited funds left in the budget, it was decided the cost would be a maximum of $150 and Jeremy would do what he could within that budget.
The hole and leak on Troon Count was brought up and management will follow up with the city. It was also noted the sidewalk and street sewer problems in front of 4108 and 4110 Abbington were finally being taken care of.
Rebecca brought up the possibility of another social event being held at a difference location, possibly Gallahad Court. It was decided to wait and see what interest there might be.
Diane reported that she had sent cards to residents from our Care Committee.
Diane also reported no new architectural requests.
Diane inquired of our management of the reminder letters were sent for power washing. She had submitted a list to management back in the summer. Madeline said she would attend to it.
All residents will receive information regarding the Annual VPHOA Meeting: November 12, 2014 at 7pm at Network.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:51pm.
