Board of Directors Meeting
Minutes
VPHO Association
May 7, 2013
The meeting was attended by David Jeffreys (president),
Diane Speer (vice-president) , Rebecca Powell (treasurer), Marilyn and Bob
McKoy (management for HOA)
David Jeffreys called the meeting to order at 3pm. The minutes were read by Diane Speer and
approved.
The financial report was given by Marilyn McKoy,
stating that our balance on hand is $8,238.10 as of today’s date. The reserve account has a total of $10,001.80
as of the same date. She also reported
that the second income tax filing covering Aug. thru Dec. of 2012 has been
filed. We are now operating on the
calendar year in filing.
Old Business:
Yards in need of mowing were discussed and letters are being
sent to residents as warranted. We noted
that some past issues of messy yards have been resolved. Rebecca stated that so far the parking on
Picadilly has not caused a problem.
The north entrance sign has been completed in its paint
restoration, thank you Bob for helping with this.
Community yard sale had very little response. Diane did advertise and put signs up at both
entrances. Only two residents held a
sale.
New Business:
Diane Speer reported that since our last meeting, three more
ARC application were received and approved.
They consisted of two new roofs and one fence application.
It was requested that Jeremy Pealer do a clean up of the
common area in Galahad and Picadilly cul-de-sac’s.
Diane wrote up a new newsletter for Rebecca to publish and
return to Network Real Estate to include in the next mailing of dues to
residents.
Since David’s term on the board is coming to an end, the
committee will be searching for a new board member.
The annual board meeting for the VPHOA will be held in early
Nov. 2013.
The next BOD meeting will be on July 16, tentatively at 3
pm.
