NOTE: The reason that the proposed budget is 17 months (August 1, 2012 -> December 31, 2013) rather than the usual 12 months is because the Board approved transitioning from a fiscal year that ends during the summer to a traditional calender year (that is: January -> December). This change will facilitate easier and better reporting for Network Real Estate and our accountants. 2014 will be back to a usual 12 month period.

1. Is there an easy way to see or print out the proposed budget. As it comes through on the blog (to my PC) m,akes it difficult to see the whole thing at once.

2. Are you entertaining questions and/or comments about the numbers NOW (on the blog or the Facebook group), or should we hold them until the meeting? Last year when I questioned some of the numbersm I was told such questions/comments would be too confusing.

3. Can you plan an aggenda item concerning the VPHOA rules on politicAL SIGNS? In the past, such signs have been strictly forbidden, and with a contentious election coming up, I'd like to have some safe haven from the politicians who feel their best strategy is to pound their names down our throats with TV ads, emails, "flocks" or signs at every busy corner, etc.

Thanks,
Bill Melosh

Hi Bill,
1 - On my system to print the pages, I did the following: Click first on just this post "Proposed Budget . ."; right click over the message and click print; when the printer dialog comes up, select only pages 1-2; and then click print. The print may come out faint, but readable, since the dialogue on the post is in white.
2 - Feel free to comment here on the blog or the Facebook page. You may get more response on the Facebook page. Of course, you may ask your questions at the meeting as well.
3 - As mentioned in the meeting announcement letter, agenda items had to be presented to the board by July 31. I am not sure that we could limit signs anyway as people have a "right to free speech," though I understand your feelings. I suggest that you express those feelings on the Facebook page to find out if others agree with you or not.
